Wyndham Art Deco All Tiled Fireplace

Enduring Art Deco Design.

The Wyndham is an Art Deco Fireplace design with decorative detail taken from a domestic fireplace design dated around 1928.

The motif in the Wyndham fireplace shows the influence of Central American art on the Art Deco movement. The stepped 'ziggurat' motif reminiscent of a Mayan temple at the base of the fire opening is mirrored in the stepped motif above it with a central diamond shape

Additional features:

Hand glazed, natural shade, curved opening tiles adds a subtlety to the assembled piece

The combination of the Ivory background with the Olive Green openings and steps framing an Inca Gold diamond shape is particularly striking

Two variations of this fireplace: One version has the Art Deco stepped stick detail to the sides of the fireplace opening. The other version is without the deco stick detail

A 16 inch fire-back for solid fuel is available, made from fired clay

Solid Fuel Kit - grate and ashpan for solid fuel use

A 16 inch fire-back for gas use is available for this fireplace. It is made from ceramic fibre and will increase the efficiency of our decorative gas fires. It is NOT suitable for use with solid fuel

A "living flame" gas fire is a decorative fuel effect gas fire, designed to be used with a 16 inch ceramic fibre gas fireback. They are low efficiency, with a heat output of about 2 kW, but they have real flames
