  • Every product has been described, including measurement specifications and colour availability as accurately as possible. It should be noted that this information is approximate and used as guidance only
  • All images featured on the website are an illustrative example, colours and images may also appear different depending on computer and mobile device screens. We strive to not publish any deceptive product content
  • All prices advertised include VAT (20% at the current rate). All goods and prices are subject to availability from our suppliers. Payment can be made by credit or debit card



  • All orders are placed in our secure and reliable shopping cart. Confirmation, including all the final details (the cost of the goods, applicable delivery charges) will be released. An acknowledge email follows which highlights that payment has been processed plus detailing the product ordered. It is important to note that the acknowledgement is neither a confirmation of the order or an acceptance of Westcombes Limited. Acceptance of the order and completion of the contract between ‘the vendor’ (Westcombes) and you, ‘the customer’ is only verified when the goods ordered have been dispatched
  • Each online order requires the following contact information: customer email address, billing and delivery address information (if using a different delivery address please provide all the necessary contact information, especially a telephone or mobile number)
  • We recommend that all customers double-check their orders, we will allow up to 12 hours after the ordering. This only applies to internet sales and telephone orders
  • Westcombes reserves the right to cancel any orders placed on this website or refuse any orders placed by telephone without restraint
  • Goods requiring a different delivery address (not the same as the billing address provided) must be ordered either online or via Westcombes’ shop. Telephones orders are not accepted.


  • We do not charge any administrative fees if there are any changes to an item on an order. If the item is a more expensive model, the difference in the costs is immediately required. If the change is for a less expensive model a refund will be issued and paid into the customers’ billing account provided only.

    Special Offers

  • All special offers on the Westcombes website are non-transferrable. They are the best offer featured. All sale prices are competitive with our competitors.


  • Payment can be made by either a debit or credit card. All major card suppliers are accepted. Card payment is via our Payment Service Provider, Shopify Payments
  • Goods cannot be released without payment in full
  • All goods remain the property of Westcombes Ltd until paid for in full.


  • There is a 25% re-stocking fee applicable to standard products returned undamaged and in the original packaging within 7 days of the purchase date. We cannot refund any made-to-measure or special order items such as hearths, wood surrounds and all beams etc. If you require a collection from your property as the items are often heavy, collection charges will also be applicable
  • These items cannot be returned or refunded once installed
  • Internet and telephone sales to individuals (not a business) are covered by the Consumers Contracts Regulations 2014, which protects the customer by 14 working day cooling off period from the day after the products is delivered
  • The customer has the option to cancel an order between the date of purchase and 14 working days after the delivery date
  • All cancellations must be made in writing, emails should be sent to: It is important to include your reference order number in the subject line
  • The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2014 states that the customer has the right to receive a refund within 14 days of cancellation.


  • It is advisable to hold onto the original packaging; as goods cannot be returned unless in their original packing. The goods must not have been fitted, installed or used in any other way
  • Goods that have not been returned in their original packaging are not accepted. Failure to comply will result in no return number or address being issued. All returned items must be dispatched by recorded delivery. Additional spare parts are non-returnable and non-refundable due to being a special order
  • We cannot accept returns of goods which have been damaged after delivery.


  • We strongly recommend that the installation date is booked after the product has been delivered to you, as we cannot be responsible for cancellation of fitters, etc.
  • It is the customers’ responsibility to ensure that products are installed correctly and in compliance with the current Building Regulations by a competent person belonging to and the IEE (Institute of Electrical Engineers) Wiring Regulations, Gas Safe or HETAS.


  • Westcombes cannot undertake to store any products delayed by delivery. It is the customers’ responsibility to incur the storage issues.


    • Due to limited storage space at our premises, we will hold products for 28 days after which we charge £7.00 inc. VAT per day (£49.00 per week) storage,for single items.  For fireplace packages etc. Where there are up to four (4) items it is £14.00 per day (£98.00 per week.)



  • The Manufacturers’ guarantees and warranties have been included in the product description where ever possible. These guarantees and warranties cover the body of the stove or fireplace.

    When does it?

  • The start date for the warranty period is the date of purchase
  • It is best to read the instructions of the product to find out about coverage for repairs and replacements
  • If a discontinued product needs a repair part or replacing, Westcombes will make every effort to make good with the most similar product or faulty part.


  • Westcombes are completely committed to maintaining your consumer rights and are in full compliance with the EU Directives and Consumer Law.
